Arts Symposium and Other News
Due to school and other things, UW Comics will not be running this term. Thanks for everyone that has supported us so far, and all the effort you guys have put in for things.
We will be planning an informal food outing somewhere near the end of the term to do brainstorming for next term and what we can do to for our invasion of planet Earth club in Winter 2012.
On another note, Sonia is going to attend the Feds Second Annual Arts Symposium on Tuesday, November 22. What is it? It’s something of an Artist’s Alley and Craft’s Corner, run in the SLC. If anyone wants to help her out with her table/ have things to sell, let her know by bugging her at luckee_cookie {at} yahoo.ca.

24-Hours Wrap-up
OK, it’s been a while since the last post, and hope everyone is relaxed from the long weekend. As for the wrap-up to 24-Hours, everyone survived the ordeal, despite assignments and other things. Congrats to Nick for completing the challenge!
A special thanks to SOFA for lending us their space for a second year in a row, and John for helping us out with that.
Hopefully more of you guys comes out to it next year (we might be moving it from the official date because it will mostly likely conflict with Nuit Blanche again)…the more people, the fiercer the fires of motivation burn, haha.
So far, meeting time and location is still up in the air as we’re trying to get approved to be active for another term. We’ll hopefully be updating soon with news.

I’m here to bug you guys about 24-Hour Comics Day and about setting a time/date for our first meeting of the term.
So without further ado: please fill out this >DOODLE< poll to tell us when you’re available, and we’ll go from there!
If you’re still interested in coming to 24-Hour Comics, there’s still room for people. It starts Saturday at noon at the Artery Gallery, and it’s a lot of fun. No drawing/comicking experience necessary, bring your own art supplies. Hope you drop by to see what we’re up to! See this page for details.

Just a reminder that 24-Hour Comics Day is coming up really fast! We’re getting the final details in place, but here’s some updates as to the event. No drawing/comic making experience necessary. If you really don’t think you can do the whole time, you are always welcome to drop by and see what we’re up to.
